Tuesday: loves shoes and holidays!

In no particular order.

It has been a long time coming since I have been on holidays, but it feels amazing to finally be free of uni (even if it's just for a short while).

I'm leaving for Vietnam on Friday night - it was 5 weeks of eating, sleeping in nice hotel rooms, watching cable and eating Oreos, using hotel wi-fi, getting tanned, swimming in deserted beaches and all this other boring stuff. But seriously, although I do think it'll be a long trip, I'm really looking forward to it!

But before I go, I've seen spending a lot of time with Jeremie, and seeing friends, and in between, working. I've promised so many people key rings, will need to buy more luggage to hold the ridiculous amount of key rings I'll be buying.

Here are some photos of my new shoes in action, thanks to Rae. And if I can't get into blogger in Vietnam - see you in 5 weeks!

Tuesday: brought the beach home with her

EDIT: if one can give a warm round of applause, what does a cold one sound like?
Let me know in the comments!

Hola amigos!

Had an awesome day at Torquay today (but if mum asks, I went to study).
I went home, rushed upstairs to take a shower, and when I went to the bathroom, my bottoms were carrying the whole beach home. Bucket loads of sand dropped on the floor.

Firstly, I stood in awe, as there was almost a layer of sand on the floor.
Secondly, I freaked out and wondered how I would smuggle all this sand out of the bathroom
Thirdly, it took me a whole roll of toilet paper to wipe up the sand.
And welcome to my life!

My week in photo format:

My friend Steph from work has a creative way of doing a bin run

Sitting in gold class deciding on my drink waiting for HARRY POTTER AND THE DEATHLY HALLOWS (OF AWESOME)

Went shopping with Julia and Jessica and my sister demanded I take a photo of this odd trio.
Then, a crapload of tourists came and took some photos because I assume they thought they were some magical birds of Melbourne, even though they were just pigeons...

Daintily drinking tea at Passionflower!

The casual skype sessions
1. Angus, singing me acoustic versions of Katy Perry and the HP theme song
2. Julia being silly and making faces at me while she's not meant to be making noise

Have a good week guys!

Tuesday: provides the lulz

1. My week so far.

My little printer and Steven's monster printer
(Thanks again for the printer guys!)

Some kind of weird game...
Does anyone know what it all means?

Amazing choc ripple cake!
With crispy M&M sprinkles

THE HAND IS SAD
Krisnel enjoying my new ring

2. New buys.

New Asos mesh panel leggings (which I got for a steal of 10GBP)
Worn with a mustard CK top which can be seen here

MY DANYS ARE FINALLY HERE!
AND THEY LOOK AND FEEL BEAUTIFUL!
(Though, I probably won't wear them out clubbing, I'd kill anyone who tried to step on me, but will definitely save them for nicer dinners and things like that)
Thanks again Jeremie for being awesome!

3. For the lulz.

The birthday cake I never saw or ate.
My parents made my birthday on the night of Aa's Ball (because one of my cousin's friends from Vietnam was over, and they wanted to give her a BBQ)
Hence, I was not at my own birthday this year.

Enjoy the loco amount of photos!

Wednesday: is ingenious

Happy 20th post friends! (I assume you are all my friends)

The title is a little bit cocky I know, but I seriously feel like a genius. Like a lock-me-up-in-case-of-nuclear-explosion-so-I-can-rebuild-the-world-and-mankind genius.

Wireless wasn't working.
BAM!
Made a few phone calls, and fixed that shit right up.

Ring only fits on the pointer finger and not the middle finger.
BAM!
Became like a household Bear Grylls and found myself a solution.

Just had a biology exam yesterday, twas great fun (note the sarcasm).
Killed two hours with Krisnel watching Big Bang Theory. THE BEST THING EVER.
Had a killer night with Amanda and Miki, makes me miss high school like crazy.

Photos of what I wore the other day when I went studying. No, I didn't study in heels, but I thought I'd put them on for the photo so I can show you my awesome shoes.
I really wish I can get used to wearing heels casually, because I have so many now, and they all look amazing with jeans, but I can't bring myself to wear them out!

T-shirt: Op-shop somewhere
Drop crotch pants: Maxim
Wedge boots: Forever21
Rings: Asos, General Pants Co.

In other news, I have bought new rings... SURPRISE!
Not really a surprise, it happens every week.
I've added a few awesome new rings to the collection.
Man, I want to major in Chemistry so I can find a cheap material that we can make rings from and NOT tarnish. ONE DAY I SHALL!

Rings from left to right:
Finger ring from Diva, Claw ring from Asos, Spiky ring from Asos, Stack o' rings from Diva

P.S - Told you my idea to make my ring fit is awesome
P.S.S - Found a funny photo the other day, will post it up soon
P.S.S.S - Have a whole heap of photos from the past week which I will post up too!

Sunday: is procrastinating!

Hola friends!

Just a quick photo update of my life so far. I really should get into the habit of always carrying a camera with me, but what usually happens is, I'll carry the camera, just to realise it's out of batteries/has no battery in it/has no SD card.

But I think I might try and do it again, or try and buy some kind of tiny camera that I can attach to my wallet or something so I never forget it.

I've bought a lot of new stuff I'm dying to show someone, but once again, camera is out of batteries and I have no idea where the charger is.

Enjoy these photos until I locate that charger!

Some kind of cocktail Jack got for me, it tasted like raspberry cordial

My French squid in my biology prac (pretty sure it got me extra marks)

The caramel Safeway cake Caz and I destroyed in the Aa meeting

Playing with my food

Belated congratulations to my sister for getting SRC President at her school!

My dad and ALL of his phones

Sign I found in the uni toilets, made me chuckle!

CAN'T WAIT FOR SUMMER!
This is me waiting for my fail friend, who told me to go to her house, when she wasn't even home yet

Jessica's unique way of putting on the bedsheets...

Epic panda sushi/moulded rice thing that Jeremie made for me!

Friday: is punctual (kind of)

SUCK IT INTERNAL DIALOGUE.
This is the revolution.
Welcome to tomorrow.
THIS IS SPARTAAAAA

I also enjoy how I'm making such a big deal of out of the fact that I can post something on time.
I really am one of a kind.

This is just something I felt like doing. No real reason, but I like to see what in people's handbags. And it's not like I can walk around the streets saying:
"Hi, my name is Michelle. Just wondering if I could have a look in your handbag".
"No actually, I'm not the police"
"Well, I just wanted to see really, there's so reason at all"
"OKAY WELL THERE'S NO NEED TO GET PHYSICAL LADY!"
(I can actually imagine this happening, which is frightening)

Here's a sneak peak into my handbag.
Enjoy stalking!

  1. Actual handbag (I got it from Cotton On for $50. Its the Rubi brand)
  2. Moleskine diary. If I could marry it, I would.
  3. Wallet. Or as I like to call it wallét.
  4. Spectacles (only really need them when I'm in lectures/movies)
  5. Mobile phone (it's the Nokia E71 for those playing at home)
  6. My pod. I asked Jeremie for a black case, and he gets me a pink one. Worst.
  7. Blistex. I have a horrible addiction to it.
  8. Loose change, which always comes in handy when I need coins for the vending machines.
  9. Water bottle. It's one of those cool squirty ones, so I always feel atheltic.
  10. Keys.
  11. Sudoku pen. Don't judge me because I have a special pen for it.
  12. Spare rings (always carry a few just in case)
  13. Notebooks
  14. Pencil case, which I got from Smiggle
  15. Mentos, or any candy. I always carry some.
  16. Tupperware container for my sammiches.
Have a good weekend kids!

P.S - Why does Harry Potter get more and more awesome with age? It's like a wine that gets better with age. So awesome.

Thursday: is in the mood (for some bloggin')

So I changed the header, what do you guys think?

I kind of like it. Makes me feel happy.

If you don't feel happy, I will make it my life's work to make sure you do.

Wednesday: is the worst

Alliteration win in the title!

Regardless, welcome back self!
It's been a while, and it is completely my fault. I can never find the energy to take photos (I know, what has happened to me?!) and seemed to be always capped.
But now, I have a new found (procrastination) energy and I've upgraded my net so I should (hopefully) be able to post more.

Last weekend was my beautiful best friend Steph's birthday!
We celebrated it to the point of exhaustion and complete loss of sobriety.
Arguably, the best way to celebrate.

I hope these photos hold you off until next time - WHICH I NOW PROMISE WILL BE BEFORE FRIDAY.
(But, Friday is only two days away, will you be able to do it?)
YES I CAN, FUCK YOU INTERNAL DIALOGUE.

Dress is a find at Savers. Twas an oversized maxi, which I shortened and hemmed really badly.
No idea why the picture of my new wedges is so small, but I got them for $25.50USD from Forever21.
RIDONKULOUS!

P.S - Happy birthday again Steph, I love you!
P.S.S - Hi Peter. I hope you read this, or this will be awkward.

Wednesday: just is

I can't stop looking at this photo.
I took it a while ago, when my normal bus stop was being fixed, and so I had to get off a stop earlier and walk home.
Everything about our planet still amazes me. I know how it some of it works and it impresses me.
When I look at photos like this, I'm glad I study science - it is ever-changing and there will never be a time where you can know everything there is to know about science. I kind of like that.

I get uncapped on the 7th, and I am taking you all on a tour of my house, so get excited!

See you then puppets.

Wednesday: seems to really like Wednesdays

Hola!

How are you? Good? Good.

Jeremie came home from the Phils today, and to celebrate we went shopping!
Well, it was an adventure, and we had some detours along the way.

Picked up Jeremie at 10:30AM from the airport, and then went into the city to do some stuff for my birthday at Escobar. We ended up going into the asian grocery there and buying supplies/snacks. I love reading the packaging of all the food there, some of the translations are hilarious. I could honestly spend a whole day there reading all of the labels.

Anyway, enough about my exciting time in the grocery store, we jumped in the car and made the road trip to Chadstone.

I always forget how big it is - by the way, it's FREAKING MASSIVE. After a speedy 2.5 hour shop-a-thon, I left with my WHOLE (pretty much) outfit for the Aa Ball for $90 (!!!!!) and Jeremie was happy with his new pair of slacks and some sushi.

Can't wait for the next week, it's going to be EPIC (aw, year 12 nostalgia)

Have a good one friendz!

1. Jeremie not letting me take a photo of his face, so here's the bottom half of his body and his cat
2. "I'M A SMALL POTATO" hahahaha best thing in the world
3. My bat wings shirt (Brand: Maxim)
4. Sleeping? Blinking? We'll never know
5+6. NEW SHOES! (Brand: Therapy)

Wednesday: really doesn't care

EDITOR'S NOTE: CAN'T CHANGE MAH FONT AND IT'S DRIVING ME UP THE WALL! WORK WITH ME BLOGSPOT!

Hello all.

No more excuses and no more promises. I'll blog when I want to!

An update on my life so far:

  1. Really don't care about what anyone thinks. I don't care if you hate this blog, or can't stand it when bloggers talk about their partners (Steph, I think you know who this is too). I DO WHAT I WANT!
  2. My favourite has reminded me why I love science. There is no magic lost in knowing how everything happens. I find it more amazing that there was a time where the Earth was nothing. We all evolved from nothing.
  3. I stress far too much. It's such a bad quality, but everything I stress over is totally worth it.
  4. I've found a photographer. Unfortunately, not my model-esque boyfriend. My sister instead!
  5. Can't wait for the break and my birthday! Looking for places tomorrow, should be good.
No more personal life updates, but Zoo magazine is $2! GET ON THAT SHIT!
I actually quite like it, it's a good read and the boobs are so ridiculous it makes me chuckle.

Photos? These are all horribly placed. First we were inside, and decided it was TOO bright, so we move outside. And realise there is one struggle - we don't have night vision. So a lot of the photos are her trying to find me in the dark. Regardless, good fun and I don't know why I never thought of asking her to take photos for me. I feel so comfortable when I'm with her, so it makes sense!

Jacket: Maxim (got it for $35 at an asian store)
Dress: From when I was a kid
Tights: Target
Boots: Lipstick (from Windsor Smith for $28!)
